Objectives of the course
  1. Get an understanding of basic biomechanics of movement and especially gait.
  2. Learn the principals and methods of standard clinical gait analysis.
  3. Learn to interpret gait data reports including kinematics, kinetics, EMG.
  4. Learn to address clinical problems with appropriate motion analysis methods.
  5. Be introduced to analysing of hip, knee, foot, deformities/malfunction.
  6. Get overview of clinical decision making based on gait analysis in paediatric orthopaedics.
  7. Learn the functional interpretation of foot models and pedobarography.
  8. Learn basics of sport biomechanics and testing in sport orthopaedics.
  9. Be introduced to musculoskeletal modelling and virtual reality.
  10. Enjoy hand-on workshops, clinical reasonings and case discussions with the international faculty and your colleagues!
