EPOS Travelling Fellowship


EPOS is continuing its cooperation with POSNA and SLAOT in organizing a Travelling Fellowship for young paediatric orthopaedic surgeons.

  • Every even year EPOS organises a travelling fellowship for 3 fellows to South America in collaboration with SLAOT.
  • Every uneven year EPOS organises a travelling fellowship for 3 fellows to North America in collaboration with POSNA.

How to apply for the EPOS-POSNA Travelling Fellowship

Candidates for the EPOS-POSNA travelling fellowship should meet the following requirements:

  • Age under 40 years -old at time of application.
  • Major proven interest in paediatric orthopaedics.
  • Scientific contribution (publications, research reports) related to paediatric orthopaedics.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Completed a training programme in orthopaedics with further sub specialty experience in paediatric orthopaedics.
  • Only candidates that are eligible for active membership will be considered for these Travelling Fellowships.

CPOT Scholarships for EPOS available!
Please note that for the CPOT course 2 scholarships are available for EPOS members.
If you are a trainee (fellow or resident) and an EPOS member in good standing, APPLY NOW!
If a trainee is not a member he/she will be still eligible if sponsored by an EPOS member.
The CPOT scholarship includes:

  • course fee,
  • complimentary hotel accommodation and,
  • a travel bursary.
