About the EPOS Scientific Committee
The role of the EPOS Scientific Committee is to:
- Promote high quality collaborative (multi national) research across members of EPOS by directly setting up and leading such research through a single member or a team of members of the Committee.
- To promote research education for established surgeons and orthopaedic trainees by conducting educational events during EPOS Annual Meetings and BAT Courses (the latter in collaboration with the Education Committee).
- To establish, and continuously develop, the infrastructure needed in order to facilitate the above two goals.
- To represent all scientific affairs of the Society by representations on EPOS Board and Reading Committee and by voting for research awards; poster prize; EPOS research grants; EPOS fellowships, etc.
