EPOS BAT Educational Programme
The EPOS Education Committee has developed the EPOS BAT Educational Programme, aligning with the standards set by the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EBOT). This comprehensive programme syllabus knowledge-sharing and fosters a deeper understanding of paediatric orthopaedics.
BAT: Basic, Advanced & Traumatology Courses
The acronym name BAT reflects the programme's three core components: Basic Courses, Advanced Courses, and Traumatology Courses. Together, these modules offer a structured learning pathway aimed at enhancing diagnostic and management skills in paediatric orthopaedics through a problem-solving approach supported by current research evidence.

The Core Curriculum
The core curriculum is covered through a combination of two Basic Courses (Modules I and II) and one Traumatology Course. These foundational courses are suitable for orthopaedic surgeons seeking to strengthen their general knowledge in the field.
Advanced Courses
In contrast, the Advanced Courses are tailored for paediatric orthopaedic surgeons working in highly specialised environments.
