The observership, hosted at the Hand Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery Unit, is focused on the treatment of all the conditions affecting paediatric hand and upper limb such as:

• congenital hand and upper limb malformations
• brachial plexus and peripheral nerve injuries of upper and lower limb
• spasticity of hand and upper limb in cerebral palsy
• hand and upper limb trauma ( in cooperation with Orthopedic and Traumatology Unit)
• hand and upper limb tumour

The observer is going to be involved in all the activities of the team regarding surgery, clinics and consultation strictly related to children from 0 to 18 years of age. Moreover, if interested, there is the opportunity to be involved in scientific activities for the team.
